I am also going to withhold my answer until at least a few more people guess.

I hope more people decide to play.  This is a fun game, and actually a nice foray into light psychology. Also, it tugs at your memory for long-time posters to this forum.

For instance, I think I remember Eric mentioning a Washington/Delaware connection on a past thread.  So that leaves 2 and 3 for my guesses to his lie.  From what I know of his hobbies, he is kind of a romantic (in a very good way) for family history, and history of his hometown.  I could easily see writing a story on an old car if that car had a lot of family history and stories behind it.  At the same time (and here is where general psychology comes into play), if you are going to make a lie about Golf, why pick an Eagle when you can go all out and pick a Hole-In-One?  *  Interesting.

I flipped a coin and went with 2 as Eric's lie, but it was a well thought out lie, whichever it is.  Emot_yes

* Not that my Hole-In-One is a lie... but maybe it is... but maybe not.

"Beware the beast Man, for he is the Devil’s pawn. Alone among God’s primates, he kills for sport or lust or greed. Yea, he will murder his brother to possess his brother’s land. Let him not breed in great numbers, for he will make a desert of his home and yours. Shun him; drive him back into his jungle lair, for he is the harbinger of death.” – Sacred Scroll 29:6
