To me, Book Three is far and away the high point of the whole series and one of the best things Alan Moore ever wrote (it certainly has the best artwork in all of MARVELMAN's history)
Book Four is simply awesome. I'm still surprised a relative rookie at writing comic book stories like Gaiman was back then could do so much, even if most of his ideas are derivative of Moore's last issue. Book Five is a huge disappointment. (Maybe now that it will be completed the ending will save it)
