Thanks for the Crandall sample, alizarin - he was definitely still turning out some beautiful work in the early 60s, that's for sure.


As far as the WF story goes, I have a soft spot for that Cavemen story, as it was featured in the WF giant #206, one of my earliest purchases at the age of 10. It was another "red sun" variation, as the heroes have to rely on their wits to overcome the aliens on a distant planet.
