Thanks Commander, for the throughly enjoying "Decoy" review.

Interesting thought about plans for another GA/MM team-up. On the other hand, maybe it was Julie's way of trying to inject a bit of characterization by having some members form friendships outside of the league (aka Superman/Batman, Flash/GL, Hawkman/Atom).

This was the second JLA tale in a row that Schwartz and Fox tried to interweave stories from different titles - last month they found a way to intersect with The Atom, now Mystery in Space.

I wonder if they would have continued in that direction, eventually even with inter-title cross-overs, had Julie not gotten the huge task of revamping Batman handed to him (not to mention launching Hawkman as well!)

In addition to the obvious drawbacks that we've all noted from Schwartz swapping out the sci-fi books, I also think there was a notable sapping of energy and creativity from all of Julie's other books around this time, as he managed this transition period.
