When she "flies" at the end, I got the impression maybe she was being picked up by the invisible plane? Or something? It was a slow, weird sort of of jump into the air, wasn't it? Maybe just wishful thinking.

I actually liked the costume and hippolyta and the look of Paradise Island. It was dark and moody, but it seemed suprsingly true to its roots. Blonde Hippolyta? Check. Archaic, white pillared Greek temples? Check. Flowing white tunics as opposed to ugly brown animal-fur clad Amazons? Check. Felt updated and modern without being too "Xena, Warrior Princess-ish", which is my greatest fear. I'm cautiously optimistic.
