My main interest in Comics are the reprints and therefore I am not really concerned too much about their present fair. However, it is important that the company is financially healthy otherwise the reprints would also stop coming. As far as I can see Joe Q has done a great job at reversing Marvels fortunes and therefore he gets my vote.
Sounds exactly like something I would say - except for the last part. Wouldn't the success of the Marvel movies like Spider-Man and the X-Men have more to do with the "reverse in Marvel's fortunes?" I don't think Quesada has anything to do with the Hollywood connection.

Ray doesn't clarify whether he means the publishing arm or the whole company, but the monthly sales figures are now as high as they were ten years ago, that's probably down to what Quesada has done with the books and the characters in them.

Almost every time I read the weekly interview with Joe Quesada at Newsarama he talks about the way the titles have gone away from the way in the sixties that there was an edginess to the stories, and how the characters were not to be trusted, not just the X-Men. That doesn't sound like someone who is ignoring the history of the company.

What he doesn't have is a better answer for the problem of shifting time, but that is being discussed elsewhere.

Peter.
