Financially, he's doing fine. Creatively, I think Marvel hasn't learned anything from the early 90's, which I suppose makes sense since Quesada broke into the industry at that time and it's the era for which he's repeatedly shown the most nostalgia. The main difference is that we've traded dumb artists for dumb writers.

There's some good stuff being published at Marvel, but it's mostly stuff that you have to dig for a little. The main superhero titles are a disaster, IMO. But then again, I think the exact same thing of DC :)
