I can judge from Q.'s quote above that he's talking like a marketer--a bad marketer. He's not speaking like he's in charge of Marvel; he's speaking like a snide, smug marketing executive who found a way to garner a little publicity. He knows damn well how comics shops work, and he has no right to blame comics readers who don't happen to be on a pull list. He knows damn well that Cap #25 was under-distributed and over-publicized. He knows damn well that distribution deals were slid under the table between Diamond and CGC. He sounds very shady in that post.

This leads me to conclude that he's not interested in putting out comics--he's interested in agitating comics fans into rushing out to buy product. Well people don't need to be pissed off into buying comics--they'll buy 'em if they're any good.
