In issue 74's column, Julie went into a behind-the scenes explanation of the distribution of inking assignments, and mentioned that he only allowed Infantino to ink his own work in features such as Space Museum to keep him sharp!

Most intriguing though, is Mr. Schwartz's response to Robert L. Adams. About a year earlier, in JLA #4 (the story in which Green Arrow is inducted into the League), Flash casually nominated Adam Strange for JLA membership. Some readers cried foul, saying Adam's heroics were unknown to anyone on Earth. Julie revealed here that he felt this deserved some explanation, so it inspired him to commission Fox to write the classic "Planet that Came to a Standstill" that would be unveiled in the next issue. This may have been the earliest instance that a DC story was initiated by fan response, and what a tale it turned out to be!:
