I think Osgood is doing DC a great service as it really is interesting to check out what was been asked and how things were opened up to us readers all those years ago. I must say without causing a civil war that DC had better letter columns than Early Marvel. Stan and Jack(or whoever did the editor work on their column's ?) were just a tad too cute for me with the eternal NO prize and we are one with you, Grok our books. The Marvel books were great but the DC science books and letter hacks were the top of the barrel. I remember as a kid thinking these fellow kids are really articulate. I never wrote as been too shy and the time lag in England when I got my books made all my thoughts redundent.
Its a shame that the science facts and the letter columns aren't part of the archive's layout. As much as I love the web, I do miss the old snail comments and I learnt a lot as a kid. Julies books were always top notch and thanks to Osgood, we experience them again, good show young Peabody :)
