"Green Lantern Lives Again", which chronicles Hal's trip to the 57th century and rematch with Dr. Polaris, was well-received by the readers of 1966, and the LC is highlighted by 2 longtime Schwartz correspondents who made some astute observations.

Paul Seydor took note of Mr. Kane's increasingly dynamic artwork, which gave Julie a chance to plug Gil inking his own work (another treat to look forward to in volume 7!). Irene Vartanoff pointed out the 2 main flaws in John Broome's gem of a story - why wouldn't the other members of the GL corps go after Polaris to avenge Hal's "death", and why wouldn't Hal question the power ring on his memory lapses (especially since it had been so talkative of late!):
