Amazing Spider-Man 2 & 3 - Ditko Spider-Man. My favorite superhero strip ever.

Ga Marvel 2 - I have a thing for the crude early characters. When the Ferret was displaced by the much better written'ndrawn but loathsomely cutesy Terry Vance I died a little inside.

GA Sub-Mariner 2 - Not quite as much pure Bill Everett art as in volume 1, but I enjoyed the Angel strips better.

AE Jungle 1 - Holy crap, Werner Roth is a really good artist! Who knew! Of course, I am offended by the gorg... er... sexist depictions of scantily clad women, but I will tolerate it as long as there's... er... lots of nice pictures of foliage. Yep. I'm lookin' at the plants. Yep.

Iron Man 4 - Iron Man works best for me as Man in the Iron Mask style horror - Colan's the guy who communicated this best.

Thor 4 - I don't like Thor but... Thor vs. Hercules! Vs. Pluto! With as close as we'll come to the Lee/Kirby Book of Revelations in the Tales of Asgard strips in the back! Couldn't put this one down!

Fantastic Four 6 - This Man, This Monster. Here we see superhero comics peak and begin the long slide down the crapper.

Marvel Team-Up 2 - I just really, really like Stegron the Dinosaur Man. I don't judge you!

AE Strange Tales 4 - I honestly prefer the post-code Atlas stuff - The earlier ones were just a little too samey. "How's THIS guy gonna die ironically?" And Everett, Maneely, and Bill Benulis (my holy trinity of Atlas Era artists) are all nicely represented.
