The oldest Archives pre-orders/shipping data that I've had access to thus far was December 2001 -- I think you've had a hand in getting me that far back! -- and I haven't invested much effort in pushing any further back as I've been working on other projects. Thanks very much for pushing two more titles off my unknown list.

Okay, show me a new toy, and I have to stop and play with it. I started running through data for 2001, and thanks to a faulty "next month" link wound up in 2002 and discovered the numbers reported on the Comichron site are larger than the Diamond numbers previously reported. For example:
December 2001 - Sgt. Rock Volume 1 - 3061 / 3290
December 2001 - Spirit Volume 6 - 3041 / 3269
December 2001 - World's Finest Comics Volume 2 - 2677 / 2877
January 2002 - Green Lantern (Golden Age) Volume 2 - 2554 / 2741
February 2002 - Flash Volume 3 - 2647 / 2844
March 2002 - Doom Patrol Volume 1 - 2893 / 3109
April 2002 - Spirit Volume 7 - 3037 / 3264
May 2002 - Wonder Woman Volume 3 - 2517 / 2701
June 2002 - Enemy Act Volume 1 - 2886 / 3095
So, tonight with NHL Playoffs in the background, I'm going to plow through this Comichron site to see what I can add to the list from our list of unknowns and then compare what we previously knew to these other numbers to see how long we've got mis-matched data. Then we can sit down and figure out why there is a difference.
