Oh absolutely, I've asked a few times before when the remastered volumes fully took over but never had a definitive answer. You make a great point though that once we hit that mark, the softcovers essentially become "gravy" in the sense that minimal work is needed to reprint them as the hardcovers did the heavy lifting. I see no sign whatsoever that the softcovers would stop anytime soon. As it stands they are running about 11 years behind the hardcovers now with the one per month publishing. I'm super roughly estimating we are around SC #50 and HC #180 leaving 130 softcovers to be published to catch up to today.

As much as I'd like to see 2 per month, I can barely handle reading the one per month especially with the new super-sized Archives DC seems to be putting out, not to mention you guys got me hooked on Showcase Presents!
