I don't believe additional restoration was done on this volume.  The credits read Kelleher on the covers (which look good) and Jamison on the interiors (or someone like that- I'm at work).  In almost every case of there being an upgrade, Kelleher has been credited where he wasn't before.  I think his shop is the go-to for sprucing up old Masterworks film.

In the case of this book, I seem to recollect there being a problem locating print copies of the book at the time, so some Golden Age Masterworks were "restored" using microfiche.  Microfiche is unusable for restoration judging by this volume.  I know Burgos isn't a world shaking artist - but the quality of the line work and it's general appearance is so bizzare that it can't be blamed on the artist.  It looks like a small 72 DPI image was blown up and smoothed to my eye, and I'm no novice at the various techniques used - and this is no longer one of them.

I think Marvel is willing to spend money improving line art when there is superior material readily available.  I'm guessing they don't have the film for these issues to this date, and so nothing was done at all.  If I wasn't a completest, I would never ever have purchased this book.  I hateGolden Age super-hero books as a rule - the art is barabaric and the stories aimed at children - but this isn't even an interesting novelty - it's a sham.
