I have seen but not touched the new Omnis. I don't own them.

I do own several omnis and OHCs from last year, at which point the paper was already disappointing to me. I am basing my judgments off of the paper used as late as the two books I name in my post, which caused me to stop buying omnis on a whim - otherwise I would own the the two new ones. I feel that makes my comments about the thinner paper trend relevant (if not specific), as I've already put my money (or lack thereof) where my mouth is when it comes to the topic of this post.

As far as I'm concerned, the quality threshold was already crossed, so I don't need to keep picking up products of diminishing quality to confirm my assumption unless I hear people say the paper has actually improved in some way. If you are here to tell me that the Iron Man or X-Force omnis significantly improve on the 2012 paper... well, I still wouldn't buy them, because I don't like the wrapped covers, but I'd be interested to hear that!

I understand if you choose to discount my opinion, since it's not directly based on the two newest Omnis. If I have the chance to page through a friend's copy I would certainly take it.
