Yes and no -- I think it depends on the product, in that not every consumer is going to be so obsessively aware of that pattern to be able to take advantage of it; but I think there are certain types of product where consumer interest has eroded to the point where it's down to, you know, people like us, who are paying attention.

I really don't think there's all that much "playing the market," though, I think these low sales are a mostly accurate reflection of demand.

(It seems like we go through this every time there's a new set of pre-order estimates, like it's a "stage of denial" some people have to pass through or somethin'.)
