What's wrong with having the same content in a slightly larger, slightly heavier, more durable omni? Emot_huh
Well, as I stated, it's a space issue for me. Much as I love my Spidey Omni vol. 1, when I handle it, I fear it being crushed by it's own weight, either on the spine, or if, God forbid, I should drop this King James barbell in transit. Also, I'm halfway through the Layton IM Omni, and as far as I've noticed, there's been zero concern about ripping pages or bleed. In fact, the dark blues and greens are sometimes too dark, yet don't bleed through the next page.

I would rather have a $99 retail price than a $125 one, because I buy a lot of books. I guess I'm more into hoarding as many comics as I can get, and with that $25 (or more savings on TOW or Amazon), I can buy more collections. I know it's a downgrade, but the economy is still hurting, and costs of production continues to rise, so this is probably the new normal.

btw, my only disappointment is that the Layton IM Omni doesn't have letters pages, lke all other Omnis do. There was certainly room for them, if you took out the extraneous re-reprinting of the double-sized #244 that had modern coloring. I dont give a hoot about that.
