I compared the Mitcheline/Layton newIron Man omnibus with Tomb of Dracula 1.A very noticeable difference in paper quality.ToD pages feel like much better paper and I prefer the thicker paper.I read omnis at a desk so thickness is not an issue for me.Even with the lighter paper I don't see these as volumes as being ones I'd rest on my chest lying in bed for example. Its obviously a money saving exercise.I have to say it won't put me off from buying new style omnis,I can live with the cheaper paper and I love the omni format even more than Masterworks as that extra size gives the page a real wow factor.
