When the books in question are typically 1000+ pages and roughly 8.3 x 11 inches (orĀ 21 x 28 cm), I think a thinner paper stock can definitely change the reading experience; whether it improves it is subjective, I guess.

I know this is the internet, and glib quips often trump logic, but come on...
