There will have been no change in the content from volume-to-volume as the Archives go back to print -- they're stright reprints.

I'm not sure when that particular volume falls in terms of the process being employed for restoration -- I was with DC at that time, but my memory apparently wasn't -- but I suspect it's early enough to still have used Theakston's chemical "bleaching" process, and likely also early enough that the coloring was not necessarily identical to the Golden Age work. Both have improved over time, but it was rough going early on, espcially if you're especially concerned with fidelity to the source material.

If you have access to any of the Batman Chronicles books, you can probably get a sense of the material from the earlier Archives from them.
