Daredevil #17, June 1966 [published 5 Apr 66]

“None Are So Blind ..!” - Script: Stan Lee; Art: John Romita; Inking: Frank Giacoia; Lettering: Sam Rosen

Unfortunately the burst of temper really was right up Spider-Man’s alley.

Page 3: Foggy is rapidly proving that he has no moral compass.

Page 7, panel 2: Romita is not drawing Aunt May wrinkly enough.

Pages 6-8: J. Jonah Jameson is either proving that he’s lacking in the brains department, or that he’s easily manipulated, or perhaps both.

Page 18: great layout and a very dramatic scene.

Page 19, panel 1: does it look like Daredevil’s limping?

Actually the most interesting thing about this encounter is watching Foggy lose his already iffy moral compass. I’ll substitute drama like that over a super-hero guest-star appearance any day.

Anarchy and Chaos are the natural state of the human race. Civilization is unnatural. It is a whim of circumstance. And Chaos must always ultimately triumph.
