There's a lot of grey area (or is that gray area? Lol). By the strict definition of "exactly like the original" comics, then the new coloring should not be created tightly to the line art, and have lot of poorly drawn sloppy blobs. Should recoloring not "stay within the lines"?

They should also not be be printed with the finer 150 line screen, but rather an 85 (or was it only 60 in the early days?) because that also alters the presentation of the colors.

It's a slippery slope with a moving target of opinions...
