The coloring makes the art look acceptable (I think Golden Age art is crude and amateurish). I found the recolored Marvel Comics an acceptable curiosity.
Schomburg is fine and I wouldn't mind buying a collection of his covers as I already have an artbook.
Wolverton is fine too but how many pages are we talking about?
What about Mickey Spillane. He's famous but what did he write? If it's 2-page text stories...
NB: In handsight, it's better if Spillane wrote text stories as I'm sure we can have more story in a text story than in an 8-page comic story.
