Possibly. I think there will come a point where legitimate digital downloads will become such a friction-free process that piracy will be less of an issue than it has been -- though I think "price" will continue to be an issue (and an easy issue for people who are inclined not to do right to complain about).

I question is how much value these add-ons really add to the experience, though, paticularly if they become so commonplace that they lose any novelty.

With digital reprints, I think there's more room for interesting bonus material -- letters pages, text pages, house ads, et cetera. But again, it's question of how much value is there, and is it enough to really encourage sales.
