From a personal viewpoint, it's been pretty successful. I was only buying The Flash, which had been a bit of a disappointment and Green Lantern, which I've been buying out of habit. So I've gone from looking at dumping all DCU books to adding Aquaman, Batman, Batgirl, Swamp Thing and World's Finest in the "second wave".

I also picked up the Flash, because I really liked Manupaul's art on the previous title and so far it's been an enjoyable read. I picked up Green Lantern as I thought it was going to be a change in direction, but no, it's just more set up for the next big event, so when the current storyline ends with issue 12/Annual 1 it's gone!

Aquaman has some of Johns' best writing since the Sinestro Corps War storyline. Snyder's Batman and Swamp Thing are both creepy and cool. Batgirl has been OK and World's Finest is just plain old school fun!

With the "third wave" I may pick up Phantom Stranger and possibly Talon, though it's storyline sounds very much like that of Goodwin and Simonson's Manhunter.
