I'm surprised Men of War was such a misfire (ha)! I think there's a lot of good will for Sgt. Rock and people want a good war title. If they can make Jonah Hex and Hellblazer work they should be able to do a Sgt. Rock title.

I think Jonah Hex was better before the New 52.  I'm not enjoying the Gotham City stories nearly as much, though the book is still okay.  One of the big problems with the war books for me is that they are set in the present.  I'm not that interested in reading stories set in Iraq, Afghanistan or wherever.  I know it's been 67 years since World War II ended, but a Sgt. Rock title set during WWII would interest me a lot more than any of the current stuff.  I have some hopes for the War That Time Forgot series of stories, but we'll see where that goes.
