From a commercial point of view, it has been a success and I give props to DC. Has it worked for me? Yes and no. I have certainly sampled some DC titles that I was not previously buying, but almost one year later I am down on the number of DC titles that I purchase each month. This has nothing to do with the reboot per se, but rather with the quality of the products. Specifically the writing has been the problem on all the titles that I have dropped. The art teams however have all been good.

AQUAMAN - Going strong and it will continue into year two.
GREEN LANTERN - I'm in through the "Third Army" storyline and I will re-evaluate at that time.
NIGHTWING - Received a second chance, but I will see how the current arc plays out.

Some of these titles were dropped early in their run, but then I went back and purchased the subsequent issues; unfortunately, the results ended up being the same...

Dropped:
ACTION COMICS - lasted one issue
BATGIRL - lasted four issues
BATMAN - lasted two issues
FLASH - lasted nine issues
JUSTICE LEAGUE - lasted ten issues
JUSTICE LEAGUE INTERNATIONAL - lasted five issues
TEEN TITANS - lasted seven issues
