I realize now that the price and page count is nothing new. Golden Age Doctor Fate Archives Vol. 1, Action Heroes Archives Vol. 2, and DC Comics Rarities Archives Vol. 1 all had around 350 pages at the $75.00 price point. So this is not a price raise at all.

The only surprise I guess is why they chose the larger page count for a volume that I'm assuming will be a part of a longer run. Could the reason just be that they knew that they needed to start at #98 if they were going to do a Silver Age volume, and that they felt the stories didn't really get good until 108 or 109 or 110? So felt they should put those in there to make it more attractive? I am not familiar with these stories at all. Or is it trying to rush through some lackluster material to get to some classic stories that will be in volume 2?

So seems to me like this might be another one shot deal, and we will be back to the normal page counts with the next volume announcement. I guess only time will tell.
I did a very quick and dirty mapping -- to be refined in greater detail over the weekend to account for logical story breaks, etc. -- and if that page count is maintained for the remainder of this line, Wonder Woman: Amazon Princess could be wrapped up in just 6 volumes covering Wonder Woman 98-177.

Then the Bronze Age line could start with issue 178 and The NEW Wonder Woman.
