I am picking up the Flash for pure nostalgic reasons as he was the first superhero comic that I ever purchased on my own way back in '61 (before that my parents had gotten me a bunch of Harvey comics like Casper and Wendy or Dells like Space Mouse) and has always remained my favorite Silver Age character.  I am also getting All-Star Western for a friend although I am enjoying it as well and will pick up any trades that may follow.  I plan on getting the Earth 2 book by Robinson as I really enjoyed his "Golden Age" mini-series and have always had a fondness for the Golden Age DC characters.  As for the rest I am just not interested.  I am sure that most of them are/will be well-writtten and drawn but my attitude is along the lines of, "been there, done that".  They can't compare with the Silver Age comics of my youth.  To cite Jules Feiffer from his book, "The Great Comic Book Heroes", comic books are/were junk and that was why we loved them.
