What makes DC titles unacceptable for young readers? What is it parents actually object to? Is it just the violence, or the long-running story arcs, or the sexuality, or additional factors, or all of the above?

Even as an adult, I have to say I'm put off a bit by story lines that go on for more than two or three issues. In the long run, I may pick up fewer DCU titles if six issue arcs continue to be the most common arrangement.
