Serious?  Opening party girl scene, cut to horse getting its head cut off (!), followed by dude crawling out of the horse carcass (!).  Plus knocked up farm girl, slaughter of the Centaurs, aforementioned rich guy setting girls on fire (!).  Were there any scenes that weren't objectionable?  I mean, it's perfectly find for older audiences, but not tween-aged girls, imo.

Oh, I'm sorry. I guess we really should go back to the pre-relaunch WONDER WOMAN. I'm sure that concerned dad must be missing the moment Diana broke Maxwell Lord's neck by twisting it 180°.
What about the slaughter of the Centaurs? Setting girls on fire? Has your daughter read HUNGER GAMES? Any of the TWILIGHT books? Hell, any of the Harry Potter books??? (Except maybe the very first). Because that's actually tame by comparison.
Remember when an American publisher refused to publish CHARLOTTE'S WEB unless Charlotte got to live in the end?? Have you allowed your daughter to read any of Grimm's Fairy tales? Perrault's original fairy tales? Hans Christian Andersen's? All classics which have been enjoyed by children for centuries. All of them containing quite graphic scenes of sexual content and yes, the big bad death.
Do your children play video games? Watch saturday morning cartoons?
I guess I don't share this belief that children should be insulated from death and stuff like that. I don’t believe in hiding from children a fact of life they will inevitably have to deal with sooner or later. Some might argue they'll learn about real life soon enough, but I'd rather they were prepared before. (Some aren’t lucky enough to be allowed to wait until later)
