Pretty nice ending to this story! It is refreshing to see DD try to prevent the fight between him and Spidey, sometimes it feels like the heroes of the MU are all too happy to beat the crap out of each other. It was also a good idea to let the Marauder escape, although the DD really should have been able to pick him up from the crowd with that radar sense of his.

Still, the bulk of the "action" (hah) actually takes place in the civilian world, where the love triangle between Matt, Karen and Foggy is still going strong. And even more interestingly, we get plenty of Peter Parker, Aunt May and J. Jonah Jameson as well! In a way this issue feels like a mix between Romita romance comics and something more action-oriented, and it works really, really well. Still, at times the soap opera aspects become a bit too much, as Stan himself notes at the bottom of this page.

Regarding Romita's future duties, he already has JJJ down. (I didn't know he had a television station!)

But Peter looks a bit off. And so does Spidey in some panels, actually.
