Well, crap.

Marvel's published some terrific titles that haven't gotten nearly the attention or sales they deserve. No wonder Marvel can't trim the non-X-Men/Avengers titles fast enough: the market's not supporting Marvel's risk-taking the way it did a decade ago.

Ruse, Mystic, and Sigil (as well as Six Guns, Legion of Monsters, etc.) were among the best Marvel series of the last couple of years.

Should I blame the readers, for not buying these great books, or Marvel's marketing strategy, for not convincing retailers and readers to support them?
