For cameos, we have a couple of note.

Mon-El actually had two appearances this month. He briefly turned up in the "Phantom Lois" story, but it was in the pages of this month's Supergirl tale that he really had a chance to shine:

However our other cameo was quite unexpected. Robert Kanigher's Wonder Woman had existed in its own corner of the universe, never intersecting with any other character or title. But in the story entitled "The Mirage Mirrors", the Amazing Amazon actually made reference to a recent JLA story:

And on the final page, Wonder Woman shockingly even brings in one of her JLA brethren to teach Steve Trevor a lesson! As far as I can recall, this was the only story during Kanigher's tenure on the title that he acknowledged any other DC characters:
