I should also mention that in recent years I have read several X-Men stories and found them much more reader friendly and accessible. For example, the current adjectiveless X-Men title by Gischler with the mutants vs. vampires story was a whole lot of fun and required little to no previous knowledge to enjoy. I also have enjoyed the Remender Uncanny X-Force run and several recent Wolverine runs (boy, that Jason Aaron is good, eh?).

Can anyone comment if Schism is worth my while? I've been eyeing the collected edition. Also, what about the Prelude to Schism? Necessary or not really? Thanks, X-people!
