Here's a few new ones I sampled this weekend:

Ranger Creek Brewery's Oatmeal Pale Ale (OPA):  Ranger Creek is a new, local (for me) brewery in San Antonio.  I've visited the brewery twice (they have free brewery tours the first Saturday of every month).  Most of their brews are only available on-tap at bars in San Antonio and Austin.  They've bottled a few of their brews, which I belive are only available in Texas ... I've always bought their stuff at HEB or HEB's Cetral market.  OPA has been a favorite of mine on tap; it's a delicious American Pale Ale that includes oatmeal as one of the specialty grain.  Wonder taste with a wonderful mouth-feel ... mainly due to that oatmeal!  I belive the bottled OPA is a limited release ... it's bottled conditioned, too.  As much as I enjoy OPA on tap, they bottle I bought tatsed a little off ... probably due to teh bottle conditioning.  I will, however, pick up another bottle or two and give 'em another try (or two).  If you live in Texas, I encourage you to try Ranger Creek's OPA (and other fine brews).

Boulevard Brewing Co's Double-Wide IPA:  Comes in a corked champagne magnum.  Frankly, I was a little disappointed.

Clown Shoes Tramp Stamp Belgian Style IPA (from Mercury Brewing Co):  Now this is a tasty Belgian Style IPA!  Pretty cool label, too.  I've had Clown Shoes brews before ... their Black IPAs were disappointing, but this Belgian-Style IPA is damned good ... hoppy AND Belgian-y!

My first comic books: Superboy and the Legion of Super Heroes #202 and Kamandi, the Last Boy on Earth #23.  What a great way to start!
