I'm a beer snob so this thread is most welcome.

I lived in Cleveland for 10 years so I'm more than familiar with Great Lakes.  A good friend worked there for awhile & would always bring home cases of bottles without labels, 3/4 full bottles, etc -- the mistakes.  I was a big beneficiary as he'd bring me the same.  So, I got a little burnt out on GLB although I still love the previously mentioned Commodore Perry IPA & Christmas Ale.

I live in Columbus & it's harder than ever to get Christmas Ale in bottles & on tap.  Several bars were squirreling away their Xmas Ale kegs until after Thanksgiving so at least it's a little easier to find now.  And I've got about a case in the fridge.

This summer, I started drinking a variety of beers from North Peak Brewing in Michigan.  The Columbus area is the only area in Ohio it's distributed.  They have a tasty beer named Vicious & they call it an American Wheat IPA.  One bar had it on tap & used a nitro tap making it extra tasty.  Sadly, it was gone the next time I went there.

I'm also a big fan of Brooklyn Brewery, especially their IPA.  Oh, and also in Cleveland there's the wonderful IPAs by Buckeye Brewing, namely the Hippie IPA & the "76" IPA.
