Go in to the LCS at the end of the month, and add up what's in your pull box. That's a pretty hefty $$ list of comics you are pulling. Try to see it as a "How much did it cost me at the end of the month, now times that by 12 months a year" Buying a house changes everyone's priorities, doesn't it?

My advice it to time your going into the LCS with your paycheques. Give yourself a budget of $50 a month. "Yikes!" -- I know! It's the space you want, right?

From your extensive list, I'd keep (my opinion only) Animal Man, Frankenstein, Swamp Thing, Batwoman and Daredevil. Get the rest in collections. Take a quick flip through individual issues of Venom at the LCS and only get the "good ones". I'm sure if you are standing there with a stack of other comics you are going to buy, the LCS staff won't begrudge you a quick peek.

You were asking for recommendations not on your list:

Add Sixth Gun from Oni, and Femme Fatale from Image to your list, either the trades or the individual issues. I like the trades for Sixth Gun, and the individual issues for any Brubaker/Phillips comics, personally. Sixth Gun is a creepy feeling Apocalyptic Cowboy story just waiting for an HBO adaption -- the art is clean and clear - lots of thought going into the line work and the colouring. Femme Fatale is (new in ?January) supposed to be a pulp noir/monster genre mashup -- Brubaker always seems to add little interviews and reviews for other awesome stuff, and they drop the extras when they make their trades. Sean Phillips can draw anything - he's awesome.

Sixth Gun is up to what? issue #15, and Femme Fatale is supposed to go a full 12 issues from Image.

It's almost Christmas time - Merry Christmas to you and your new house. Now go turn off the outside water and clean out the gutters!
