Yep, I recall watching the same Tomorrow Show interview, Richard. I'd seen it before, but watching it in light of the previous night's events was fascinating.

A few months later, I took my future ex-wife to a local revue theater to see How I Won The War for the first time. In the last half-hour of the film, Musketeer Gripweed, played by John Lennon, is running across the field when he suddenly stops, drops to his knees and looks down at a gaping bullet wound in his chest. Lennon looks at the camera, then back to the bullet wound, then back to the camera, and says, "I KNEW this was going to happen. ... You knew this would happen, too, didn't you???"

The theater was deathly still for about 2 minutes after that....
