scott--the things you said are some of the nicest compliments and greatest encouragement i ever got--things like this keep us going!

everyone-- a great number of people are heroes in our book(s) and help us do so many. our editor, guys like steven "booksteve" thompson, the collectors who lend us art and comics, my mother-in-law who scans a lot of material and many more. at the end of day though it's my wife clizia and me slaving away! i do tell people the secret to our productivity is "no TV"! we do work hard, and we do have an extensive background in this...i started doing fanzines in the mid 60s!  so we bring some experience and aren't afraid of hard work!   i am very sympathetic to completeist OCD sufferers, though most of my books are "the best of" collections because i painfully suffer from ADD! pray for me! thanks for the props for barney google book--i think it might be my very best book, maybe because billy debeck was the best--but i didn't know anybody bought one!

i like to have covers when it works out.  the jetta book had them all and all the comics, the madhouse book had a bevy, the ditko book had a lot of covers, there's more but i can't think of them right now. oh, "the complete milt gross comics and life stories" book had all the comic covers he drew--ok, 2, but it had the unpublished cover to milt gross funnies #3!) i'll keep in mind you guys like covers, though, thanks much!

but maybe my best books are coming--i can't wait to tell you about them when i can. please frind me on facebook and like "yoe books" there if you want to here the news first.

anything you can do to spread news about our books for the holidays i'd deeply appreciate it. we try and make books that would be great gift books, coffee table kinda stuff with special designs, lotsa extras, attention to details--NO TV!
