Is there actual serious gutter loss issues in Viking Prince like the Superboy HC has, or just very minor gutter loss like most of the Kirby Omnibuses have?

You got me interested, so I just went through my shelf of these books.

Unfortunately, I believe that VIKING PRINCE has the tightest gutters along with DITKO'S CREEPER.  Don't get me wrong, you can still read the pages fine, but there is little, if any, white space visible along the crease -- and some may find it distracting to see the two pages abut up against each other.  It's not a biggie for me.

The KIRBY FOURTH WORLD books have, by comparison, ample white space along the crease, however the two-page spreads are nicely laid out and continuous.  The Golden Age Kirby books and the DITKO OMNIBUS V1 (a fat book) from this year have a little thinner white space, but it looks fine to me ... not noticeable.

I think the middle run of books in this format -- CREEPER, KIRBY LOSERS, VIKING PRINCE, ATOMIC KNIGHTS -- all have the tightest gutters.  KIRBY'S DEMON is pretty tight, too -- but that was a pretty fat book at the time.
