I'd like to see such a book that would encompass the history/evolution of comic book restoration (or lack of it) in the reprints and collected edition publishing chronology by different companies. Of course it would need to be heavily illustrated with examples. I wonder if such an undertaking would find enough of an audience to be viable, however. I'm not even sure Twomorrows or McFarland would publish it, but what do I know? Still, I hope it is undertaken sooner or later.

Failing a book publication, I can see it as an interesting series of articles (that might later appear as a book) that might appear in something like Alter Ego, Hogan's Alley, or even Back Issue.
