You know, DC should take their cue from Marvel. When a movie franchise misfires, they simply start all over. That's what they did with the Hulk. They have expressed a desire to do the same thing with the Fantastic Four should the rights revert to Marvel.

BTW, Superman has endured for so long, any loss of value for Superman will be temporary. After all, the character just completed 10 successful seasons as a TV series, far longer than any of the previous live action TV incarnations. The Bryan Singer film was really just a bump in the road.
