Those prices actually do seem pretty reasonable compared to some of the prices being asked for Miller art in the wake of the record setting price for the DK page.

If you wanted to obtain original art cheaply, you needed to have foresight. I bought a Byrne-Austin X-Men piece for $60 in 1981. I sold it for $1,500 in the 90s. It now might sell for $10,000 or more. Timing is everything.
