Sheesh.  Part of the reason I followed the Legion in the first place was that it involved a reasonably consistent milieu and was mostly spared the effects of Crisis and other large scale DC universe events.  With the sole exception of 5 years later, I have absolutely hated all of the various reboots.  I still think that Crisis was a colossal mistake that made everything a million times more confusing than before.  Sometimes I wonder if I should just drop DC entirely.

It's not really that bad this time. The Legion is not being rebooted--there's a new #1 but it's still being written by Paul and it continues the same story with the biggest change being that some Academy members joined. The spinoff is not a reboot either. And the people behind the current reboot seem to like the Legion enough that they're not going to mess it up; otherwise they wouldn't have put in any hints at all about the Legion. They include Geoff Johns, who brought back Paul's Legion and Superboy to begin with. I don't think it's going to be another post-Crisis situation.
