I liked Action Comics because Superman beats up capitalists. Yay! Social injustice Superman. Finally! First time as an adult that I've liked a Superman book.

Batgirl was about as poor as all of Gail Simone's other work. Sloppy writing. Dull. Poor imitation of things I've seen others do better before her. Well, at least she's better than Geoff Johns, Kurt Busiek and some of the other hacks DC employs.

Swamp Thing and Animal Man I was surprised to like, actually. Since I hold Delanos AM so high and the same with Swamp Thing by Wein/Moore/Veitch.

OMAC was really cool. Sad to see Giffen's normal nine panel layout gone, but for a Kirby pastiche, I guess it had to go.
You like that Superman beats up capitalists and think Gail Simone is a dull writer. Oh brother do we see things differently! I find her ht and miss but still say she may write the best bad guys in comics. And wasn't it six panels that Giffen was doing in Doom Patrol? That was the stuff I found impossibly dull.
