Action Comics # 1 (2011): When the new 52 rolled out, I was neither buying the Man of Steel, nor had I in a over a decade.  The last Morrison stuff I bought was Seven Soldiers and Infinite Crisis, and cared for neither.  I also wasnt a fan of his Doom Patrol nor Animal Man.  He's just not for me.  I did try All-Star Superman, but didn't continue after the first issue.  Rags Morales, on the other hand, I liked (with one exception) since Black Condor.  His Hawkman and JSA work are highlights of these last years of my collecting.  Didnt care for First Wave or Identity Crisis.  I decided to add this book to my pull because of my hope that it will harken back to the Golden age, and from most reports, it might.  maybe some here will jump all over me for being a dinosaur, or that I've got it wrong, or its a step in the wrong direction for an entertainment field losing customers, but a fresh start, ground floor kind of thing is what ANY franchise needs periodically.  Scrape off the barnacles, get down to the pure essence, and build again.  Decided to add after all the initial announcements:  I'm in until I'm not on Action Comics # 1.

Detective Comics # 1:  On the other hand, I'm not thrilled with Tony Daniel as the sole creator on Detective.  The recent run w/ Snyder, Jock & Fancavilla have been some of the best Batman stories in a long time, and although gruesome, were engaging.  Happy to see him on Batman.  I wish Tony Daniel well, and I'm with it because of a close to 40 year straight run on 'Tec, but if he were on batman I wouldn't get Batman.  Pick from the beginning for me due to Title loyalty here, until I'm proven wrong.

Green Arrow # 1:  Boy...  Where to start.  I love green Arrow, and he hasn't been handled well since Meltzer left, 2 series ago.  Pick from the beginning for me, but This time, if it isn't working within 3 issues, I'm out...

Justice League International # 1:  I enjoy Jurgens work, and this title is my continuation of Booster Gold.  I like Aaron LoPresti's work too.  Pick from the begning for me.
