What fantasy or sci fi strips are there for them to reprint? Along the lines of flash gordon.
Brick Bradford would probably be among the best.
Frank Godwin's Connie, originally a "girl strip," took a  turn towards fantasy in 1934, and in one sequence Connie goes on an interplanetary mission which is Flash Gordon style science fantasy. The sequence lasted two years and is said to be exceptional. Connie was distributed by Ledger, and is almost impossible to find. I've only seen a few examples.
Maurice Horn: "Connie's explorations of the solar system (which were to last over two years) is one of the most remarkable sequences in the history of the adventure strip, and in the power of it's imagery and suspense can be ranked along side the best episodes of Raymond's Flash Gordon, Caniff's Terry, and Foster's Prince Valiant."
