You're very welcome, Alan.  Happy

And to all who are or may be looking into the Mainstays Folding Lap Top Table, I wanted to share a little modification that works for me, that may or may not be helpful to the rest of my esteemed colleagues.

I wear bifocals for reading, etc.  When I sit in my recliner and use the Mainstay, I found that I was getting a cramp in my neck because as I read the lower areas of the pages, my chin was almost touching my chest.   In other words, I have the table (and the book) closer than I would like.  I tried putting it further away for the comfort of my eyes and neck, but then I had some difficulty reaching/turning the pages.  I resolved the problem by taking a small paper back book (4.25" wide x 7.5" long x 7/8" thick i.e. Jim Butcher's Full Moon/Dresden Files) and placing it against the feet at the bottom of the tilt up feature.  I then place the book (Masterwork or Omni) against the paperback.  The MMW/Omni is now at the proper height (it lays 2/5 off and 3/5 on the tilt up portion).  I can read clearly, my neck doesn't hurt and I can reach/turn the pages.

I know that everyone's eyes and reading habits/preferences are different.  But I thought I'd mention this in case anyone might require some ideas if they run into similar difficulties.  The Mainstay, as I mentioned above, is one the best "practical" purchases I've ever bought.  I hope others find the same enjoyment!

Note: I don't require the paperback with Calvin & Hobbes Complete because the text/pics are large enough.  Therefore, YMMV.

My name is Oedi and I soar amidst the stars far from the planet of my birth. I guess this starship is the closest thing I've got to a home now, for I am a refugee and an outlaw. Vanth Dreadstar, Syzygy Darklock, Willow 327, Rainbow and Skeevo are my family. We are revolutionaries. Our goal? To bring an end to the 200 year old war between the Instrumentality and the Monarchy!
